LMPC Importer License know about

LMPC Stands for Legal Metrology packaged Commodity. It is the certificate that must be obtained by the companies that are importing pre-packed goods in India. The certificate of LMPC is under Rule 27 of the LMPC Rules and it is established by the Department of Consumer Affairs. It is a mandatory certificate to import goods in India.

The Application for an LMPC Certificate must be submitted within 90 days before the Importation of Goods. The outline for LMPC Certificate is outlined by the Legal Metrology Act, of 2009.

LMPC Importer License
Under Rule 27 of the Legal Metrology Packaged Commodity Rules, a Legal Metrology Packaged Commodity Importer License must be obtained by the companies before 90 days of the importing of pre-packed goods for sale in India. It is a formal and essential procedure to bring imported goods into the country complying with legal standards.

Requirement for an LMPC Importer License
The LMPC License is required to let the importers to import their pre-packed goods in the Country legally. And it is very thoroughly checked by certain custom authorities, which are empowered by the government of India. The Authority makes the stoppage of the import shipment, so the imports must get the Legal Metrology License and its registration. So, the aim and requirement of the LMPC Import License is to provide a guarantee to the distributors and the customers that the pre-packed goods are free from any type of inaccurate ingredients and not damaged.
